On Tuesday, September 26th the ”Hamburg Sustainable Development Summit“ starts. The program for the upcoming days features workshops, interactive sessions and innovative methods with a thematic focus on ”Sustainability at Higher Education Institutions“. For the first time three academic sustainability networks come together for such a format: The COPERNICUS Alliance, the European Postgraduate Sustainable Development Symposium and the German higher education network of the HOCHN project. The conference will be opened by university president Prof. Dr. Dieter Lenzen, Hamburg's Senator for Science, Research and Equalities Katharina Fegebank as well as Dr. Karl Eugen Huthmacher (Federal Ministry of Education and Research BMBF).
More information about the program can be found at the HSDS website and in the program guide (PDF). The conference itself can also be followed on the conference news blog.
